Sunday progress

Sunday was a quiet day with many housekeeping tasks accomplished. We finished disassembly of the 2010 robot chassis and began the platform construction for the 2011 chassis. 
 

CAD file structure was updated by importing all Inventor 2010 files into the 2011 Robot folder and saving them as Inventor 2011 files.  The new Andy Mark Cimple Box was downloaded from the website, IGES step files converted into Inventor files and then stored in the appropriate 2011 Robot folder.

A possible CAD design for an end effector mechanism was also discussed so a mockup can be constructed as soon as possible.

The sheet metal materials list was compiled and ordered for delivery tomorrow. New bulbs were placed in the overhead stage lighting, which gives much needed illumination in the build room.

With the MLK school holiday , we hope to see most of you at Monday night's meeting from 7-9 PM!
