Tonight was a challenging night with many discussions surrounding various drivetrain configurations as well as the potential lift/retreival systems. Many of the student team members had
great ideas.
No idea, no matter how outrageous, is discounted in a brainstorming session. I love these particular nights, as the creative juices are flowing from such great young minds and talented mentors!
We completed the Pugh Chart and determined the best and worst designs thru weighted analysis of each feature of the designs including reliability, maneuverability, power, speed, torque, buildability, duability, cost, weight, and many others. It was a very productive night, indeed!
